As the blank material in all Helios rods, 40 Ton carbon fiber delivers the most sensitive and responsive rods available. Further reducing weight, new Helios spinning rods feature Fuji "Rapid Choke" KR Concept guides. The micro guide system for spinning rods, KR Concept guides very quickly transition line coming off the reel to straight running line in the guide set. The "Rapid Choke" of the KR Concept includes more, smaller and lighter guides than a traditional guide set. The system reduces line slap on the blank, increases casting distance and distributes stress more evenly throughout the rod blank. For braided line anglers, the unique Fuji K frame eliminates wind knots and errant guide wraps within casts.
